Those creative folks at the 29 Palms Art Gallery suggest getting your hands dirty with their new online clay works class. Reporter Heather Clisby has details…
The 29 Palms Art Gallery is offering a new virtual class called “Clayworks: A Pinch in Time” on Saturday, April 17 from 10 a.m. until noon. Led by local artist potter, Ed Keesling, the class is open to all ages.
Keesling will lead class participants through a step-by-step process resulting in “pinch pot bowls” created out of stoneware clay. Following the class, the bowls will be placed in a high-fire kiln for a finished product. The clay will be provided in advance of the online class.
Cost is $12.50 for gallery members and $15 for non-members. Class size is limited to 12 students.
