CLASSES OFFERED BY THE YUCCA VALLEY LIBRARY

The Yucca Valley Library offers programs for residents of all ages, from toddlers to adults. On Mondays at 11 a.m. is the LearnOlogy STEM lab for children ages 6 to 11. On Tuesdays is story time at 11 a.m. Totally Toddlers is for children up to age 5 and is held at 11 a.m. Wednesdays. Movers and Shakers is a high-energy program for active toddlers up to 5 years old, and is held Thursdays at 11 a.m. Family movies are for all ages and are shown on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. And on Tuesday, March 5, the library will hold a special Dr. Seuss story time program at 11 a.m. Rebecca Havely says there are events geared for adults, too…

The Yucca Valley Library holds a book club for adults every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Call the library to find out which books have been selected for discussion. The basic computer class, which is held at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, covers a little bit of everything, from how to use a computer to learning basic programs like Word and Excel, and using the Internet and email.
