This clarification to a story we aired yesterday on school immunizations for students offered by the Morongo Unified School District and Healthcare District. Information provided to Z107.7 News says that school supplies and medical services are provided at no cost; however, the healthcare district told Z107.7 News the immunizations are free only if the student has insurance that covers the cost. Students who need immunizations should bring a copy of their insurance card to the event, set for 9 to 1 Friday at the Joshua Tree Sportsman’s Club on Sunburst Avenue in Joshua Tree.
