Twentynine Palms and Morongo Valley CSD announce candidates

After extending the deadline to file with the county, the candidates running for open seats on the Twentynine Palms City Council and Morongo Valley Community Services District have been announced.

Twentynine Palms City staff provided Z107.7 with a list of candidates running for City Council Districts 1 and 2:

  • In District 1, incumbent council member and current mayor Steven Bilderain is running against challenger Carrie Williams.
  • In District 2, current council member Joel Klink announced that he would not seek re-election. Three candidates have filed to fill his seat: Jim Krushat, Paul Razo, and April Ramirez

Filings made to the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters indicate that an additional candidate has filed to run for the Morongo Valley CSD in the extension period.

Running for two four-year seats are three people: incumbents Chistina Gorke and Lance Fisher, along with challenger Janet Osborne. Running for three two year seats are incumbents Johnnie Tolbert, Steven Hayden, Lynn Watts, along with challenger Eva Rowles.
