Businesses that cater to tourists are invited to participate in the 2017 Tourism and Marketing Update, sponsored by the city of Twentynine Palms. The event will include information related to tourism, growth, and economic development, including an update on Project Phoenix, Joshua Tree National Park tourism statistics, and MBTA bus routes in the park. Reports will be given on the city’s marketing plan, from Tortoise Rock Casino, the Chamber of Commerce, and more. The marketing update is set for Thursday, January 19, from 9 to noon, at the Community Services Center, 74325 Joe Davis Drive in Twentynine Palms.
