It’s a Cinco de Mayo Party in Johnson Valley this Saturday. Reporter David Knutson gets out his piñata… Everyone is invited to join the festivities at the Johnson Valley Community Center to celebrate Cinco De Mayo on Saturday, May 7. Admission is only $10 per person which includes food, a free margarita and a free sombrero. This fun event starts at 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. The dedication of the Desert Dreams Garden will start right at 1 and concluding at 2 with the Taco Grill serving tacos and desserts from 2 to 4. There will be plenty of games and prizes along with margaritas and non-alcoholic beverages. The Johnson Valley Community Center is at 50567 Quailbush Road in Johnson Valley.
