CIF 1ST ROUND GAMES FOR TWENTYNINE PALMS AND YUCCA VALLEY GIRLS BASKETBALL, YUCCA VALLEY GIRLS SOCCER

Both the Yucca Valley High School girls’ basketball and soccer teams will participate in the first round of CIF playoffs tonight.

The Yucca Valley Lady Trojan basketball team opens up the CIF Division 3AA playoffs with a first-round game against the Sunny Hills Lancers from Fullerton. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the game starts at 7 in Trojan Gym.
The Lancers ended the season with a third-place finish in the competitive Freeway League and an overall record of 17-9. The Yucca Valley girls qualified with a second-place finish in the De Anza league and an overall record of 19-6.

The Yucca Valley soccer team will travel away to San Jacinto to play San Jacinto Valley Academy, starting at 3 p.m. 

The Twentynine Palms High School girls’ basketball team is in the first round of CIF playoffs. The girls play at home at 7 p.m. tonight against Carter High School of Rialto.

Ticket prices for all playoff games are set by CIF, and are $10 general admission and $5 for students with school ID and for children ages 5 to 13.
