A trial date has been set for the former Marine accused of killing his next-door neighbor and former lover a year and a half ago. Christopher Lee, 26, was in court again in San Bernardino Friday morning. Christopher Lee’s attorney requested that Judge Glenn Yabuno dismiss the case due to procedural errors in the case. The judge denied the motion. Lee’s case is set to go to a jury trial February 29 in San Bernardino. Christopher Lee is accused of murdering Erin Corwin, 19, of Twentynine Palms, and dumping her body down a mine shaft in the desert in the Virginia Dale Mine area east of Twentynine Palms.
