Southern California’s only law-enforcement based wish-granting charity made sure Christmas came early for a Twentynine Palms girl yesterday. Santa, riding on a fire engine from the Twentynine Palms Fire Department, along with a convoy of Sheriff’s patrol cars, pulled up in front of Adalynn Pierce’s house in Twentynine Palms Tuesday to make this the best Christmas ever for the 3-year-old girl. Addie has brain cancer and just finished six months of chemotherapy. The Debbie Chisholm Foundation is named for a Sheriff’s deputy’s 12-year-old daughter who died of brain cancer, and is dedicated to granting wishes to seriously ill children in the Inland Empire. The deputies, fire fighters and representatives from the Debbie Chisholm Foundation brought a truckload of gifts for Addie and her family, along with smiles and hugs, to make this the best Christmas ever.
