Morongo Basin Relay for Life sponsors the opening night gala for the holiday standard, Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” at Theatre 29, with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. “A Christmas Carol” opens November 15 and runs weekends through December 14. Rob Wanless directs. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the opening night gala. Guests will enjoy abundant hors d’oeuvres and complimentary beverages, including wine. A silent auction will offer a variety of items, curtain goes up at 7 p.m.; then coffee and door prizes at intermission. Gala opening tickets are $25.
