Chris Carrillo has announced his candidacy for County Supervisor of San Bernardino’s Third District, which includes the Morongo Basin. Current Supervisor of the 3rd District, Dawn Rowe, has announced her intention to run again, and Carrillo is the first challenger in the 2024 election.
Carrillo is a resident of Highland, and currently on the board of the East Valley Water District, which serves Highland and parts of the city of San Bernardino. He ran against Rowe and 46 other candidates for the supervisorial seat of the 3rd District in 2020, and was the Deputy Chief of Staff for former 3rd District Supervisor James Ramos.
