The majority of collisions in California that end in death or injury begin with a speeding or aggressive driver. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) has received a federal grant to fund a campaign to reduce the frequency of crashes caused by speeding and aggressive driving. With summer fast approaching, the primary goal of the grant is to reduce the number of collisions caused by speeding, improper turning, driving on the wrong side of the road, and thereby reducing the number of traffic fatalities and injuries.
