CHP OFFERS “START SMART” DRIVING CLASSES FOR TEENS AND PARENTS

The Morongo Basin Area CHP will be holding a Start Smart class on June 30 at 6 p.m. for teens and their parents. The class will illustrate how poor choices behind the wheel of a car can affect the lives of numerous people. This interactive class focuses on responsibilities of newly licensed drivers and teaches collision avoidance techniques. Parents and teens interested in attending call Officer Simon Miller at 760-366-3707. The Start Smart program is free of charge and is approximately 1 ½ to 2 hours in length.
