CHP OFFERS FREE TEEN DRIVER CLASS THIS SATURDAY

The Local California Highway Patrol station is offering free Teen Driver classes. Reporter Taylor Thacker tells you how to sign up for this Saturday’s class…

The California Highway Patrol will be offering a free teen driver class on Saturday, September 20, starting at 10 a.m. The goal of this course is to provide awareness and education to teenagers, their parents, and community members about responsible driving, with the goal of reducing the number of injuries and deaths suffered by teen drivers as a result of distracted driving and poor decision making. The class is free, but registration is required due to limited class size. This event takes place at the California Highway Patrol office in Joshua Tree. Refreshments will be served. For more information call 760-366-3707.
