“Age Well, Drive Smart” are free classes being offered by the California Highway Patrol. The goal is to help seniors maintain their driving independence for as long as they can safely drive. The course aims to refresh participants’ knowledge of the rules of the road, as well as how to adjust to normal age related physical and mental changes. The class is offered at the Dumosa Senior Village conference room in Yucca Valley on Friday, September 16 at 2 p.m. Class lasts 1 ½ to 2 hours and there’s no need to sign up in advance.
