Teen drivers are at great risk of collisions, but with the proper amount of control and focus, tragedies can be avoided. The Morongo Basin Area of the California Highway Patrol will be holding a FREE Start Smart Class on Tuesday, May 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. The class is geared towards newly licensed teen drivers and their parents and how they can combat problems on the road safely and efficiently. The class is held monthly and a reservation is required due to limited class size. For more information, or to sign up, call 760-366-3707.
