CHP KICKING OFF ANNUAL LOCAL TOY DRIVE

Starting Monday, November 23, the California Highway Patrol’s Morongo Basin Station is kicking off its annual “CHiPs for Kids” toy drive. The CHP collects toys for needy children here in the Morongo Basin. Anyone wishing to donate a new, unwrapped toy can do so at the Yucca Valley Walgreens or at the Morongo Basin CHP station in Joshua Tree. The last day to donate toys will be December 18. The toys donated will benefit families in need in the Morongo Basin.
