The California Highway Patrol is investigating a roll-over crash in Pioneertown Thursday afternoon. County firefighters from Yucca Mesa who were called to the crash about 5:10 p.m. near Pipes Canyon Road and Rim Rock Road found a white Nissan truck on its passenger side in a home’s front yard, but the driver was nowhere to be found. Firefighters searched for a victim without success. Anyone with information should call the CHP at 760-366-3707.
