“CHiPs for Kids” Toy Drive begins today, drop-off locations inside

The California Highway Patrol’s Morongo Basin Area is kicking off the annual “CHiPs for Kids” toy drive today (November 14) with a collection event at the Yucca Valley Walgreens, where officers will collect gifts in person, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. to be distributed to needy children, from infants to teenagers.

If you can’t make it today, you can still donate toys the CHiPs for Kids until December 22. There will be collection boxes at a stores throughout the hi-desert.

Anyone wishing to donate a new, unwrapped gift can do so at:

  • Walgreens in Yucca Valley

The last day to donate toys will be December 22nd.
