There will be a winter festival at Copper Mountain College Friday, December 13, geared specifically for children 14 and under. Sponsored by the college’s Access Club, Fire Technology Club, and Literary Arts Club, the festival will include refreshments, Mrs. Claus’ clothing pantry, and an infant supply table. Children under 14 will receive a gift and all will be able to watch Santa arrive on a fire engine. The event is free and open to the public. The free festival will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at Bruce’s Café on the college campus and is open to the public. For more information, call 760-366-3791.
