The library is a great place to bring your child for reading and craft programs. Reporter Eric Knabe says the Joshua Tree library has programs for kids of all ages…
For the next month, the Joshua Tree Library is offering programs for kids of all ages, from toddlers to teens. On Mondays, beginning August 14, at 4 p.m., is the teen program, where teens can explore art and different artistic media. This program is for teens who are artistic or who would like to learn how to be. On Tuesday mornings at 11 a.m. is preschool story time for children ages 3 to 5. The story time promotes a love of reading and provides an opportunity for socialization as children listen to stories, sing songs and construct a simple craft. Kids on the Move is a high-energy program for active toddlers up to 3 years old, and is held Wednesdays at 11 a.m. Kids will jump, clap, shake, and dance through the morning, and parents are encouraged to participate.
