April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Center for Family and Community Services is dedicated to supporting families and reducing the risk of child abuse and neglect. Join them for Child Safety Awareness Day, Friday, April 26 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Yucca Valley Community Center covered picnic area. There will be free hotdogs, games and prizes, free developmental screening for children zero to five years old, resources and support for all families.
