CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION EXPLORED AT LIFETREE CAFÉ

Lifetree Café’s free program, “A Safe Place: Confronting Child Abuse in Your Corner of the World,” offers tips for recognizing signs of child abuse and ways to prevent it. Participants will also see an exclusive screening of Muted, an award-winning, independent short film.
Participants will look at the different roles people play in child abuse and discuss practical ways people can help prevent it.
Lifetree Café is set for 4 p.m. Sunday behind Little Church of the Desert on Veterans Way and Ocotillo Avenue in Twentynine Palms. For more information, call Brad at 760-217-2597.
