This update to a story we aired Saturday about a Twentynine Palms man who was arrested Thursday after a stolen vehicle was found on his property in the 7500 block of Sherman Hoyt Avenue. Craig Carter, 45, was released Saturday and the charges against him were dropped. Carter told Z107.7 News that the woman who was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, Julia Tucker, 34, of Hesperia, is unknown to him and was not visiting him but a friend of hers, and that Tucker allegedly parked the stolen car on his property. Carter also claims that no shaved key was found among his possessions.
