The commanding general of the Twentynine Palms Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center will relinquish command at a ceremony Thursday, July 14. Brigadier General William Mullen III will take over command of the Combat Center and the Marine Air-Ground Task Force Training Program from Major General Lewis Craparotta. The ceremony will be held 9 a.m. Thursday, July 14 at Lance Corporal Torrey L. Gray Field on board the base. Craparotta is scheduled to assume command of First Marine Expeditionary Force. Mullen recently served as the director of operations in the Combined Joint Operations Center in Baghdad.
