A robocall to parents of students at Onaga Elementary School has caused some misunderstanding. Interim Superintendent Doug Weller said it appears that a parent may have misunderstood a robocall that went out the other day. The school used to have a Friday-only policy for parents; in other words, parents were allowed to have lunch with their children on Fridays only. Now they have broadened it so that parents can come on any day. A call went out recently canceling the scheduled Friday visitation and apparently, some parents thought they could no longer have lunch with their children, which is not true. The new policy only involves Onaga Elementary and is not district-wide.
