CHAMBER MUSIC THIS WEEKEND AT HI-DESERT NATURE MUSEUM

A very special cultural offering will be held at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum this weekend. Reporter Mike Lipsitz invites you to hear the Encelia Chamber Ensemble in concert…
In a Yucca Valley first, the Hi-Desert Nature Museum brings two performances of chamber music here. considered “music for friends” with a small number of musicians performing for a small audience. The Encelia Chamber Ensemble will perform pieces from Mozart, Beethoven, Telemann, and others this Saturday, June 11 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, at 2 p.m.  The Encelia Chamber Ensemble comes to the hi-desert from as far away as Wales in the UK.  Individually, these musicians have performed with symphony orchestras, philharmonics, and even the David Letterman Show. They have taught generations of music students and some are composers themselves.  After the performance, a light reception with the musicians and will be held. Reserved seating is $20 to $30.  Tickets are available at www.hidesertnaturemuseum.org, the Yucca Valley Community Center, and the Hi-Desert Nature Museum.  All proceeds will benefit the Hi-Desert Nature Museum which is located in the Yucca Valley Community Center Complex.
