The Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft—for the third time—of chain link fencing from a residence in Twentynine Palms. About 9 a.m. Thursday, the homeowner in the 71400 block of Venus Street called to report that chain link fencing, worth about $2000 had been stolen from his property sometime Wednesday. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
