Are you prepared for a disaster? Mark your calendars now for the Morongo Basin CERT team’s Disaster Preparedness Day in conjunction with the Great American Shake Out. This event will happen October 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Tractor Supply parking lot, 57980 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley. There will be free information and demonstrations on water purification and storage, survival skills, animal care, basic first aid and much more.
