“Stories in Stone” is a half-hour prime-time documentary about the above-ground cemetery and its inhabitants in Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans. The producer of the show, Kit Rault, will introduce the film at 12:30, and stay for questions and answers afterward. The screening will be followed by a spooky Halloween bash, with refreshments, music, and more at 1:30. Come in your craziest Halloween-themed hat or grab one at the Senior Center for the crazy Halloween hat contest. Both events are Wednesday, October 31, and are free. The Yucca Valley Senior Center is located behind the library, next to the soccer fields.
