The GPS tracking feature of a stolen cell phone led to the arrest of a San Bernardino woman in Yucca Valley Friday after she was found in a stolen car. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called about 6:10 p.m. by a man who said his Acura had been stolen earlier in the day. Inside his car was his cell phone, and when he started tracking his phone’s location, it showed that it was near a restaurant in the 56800 block of 29 Palms Highway. A deputy found the vehicle, with the cell phone inside. Sitting in the driver’s seat, with the keys in the ignition and the engine running, was Richelle Burse, 21. Richelle Burse was arrested for investigation of possession of stolen property, and on a warrant for burglary, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and is being held without bail.
