Jeanie Carbone, a 35-year resident of Joshua Tree, died April 6 of an apparent heart attack. She was 68. Jeanie Carbone had owned and operated the Park Rock Café and was an active volunteer at the Way Station. She took care of her brother, Guy Luvallo, and he will miss her very much. A celebration of life for Jeannie Carbone will be held at the “Old House” on Sunburst Circle at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 24.
