There will be a celebration of desert wildlife Saturday, March 9, at Tortoise Rock Casino in Twentynine Palms. From 9 to noon, there will be live desert tortoises, educational chats, crafts, games, face painting, photo booth, music, give-aways, and more. Tortoise Rock Casino is located at Adobe and Baseline Roads in Twentynine Palms.
