CDFW holds Western Joshua Tree virtual public meeting on 12/4

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is holding a virtual public meeting to discuss efforts to preserve the Western Joshua Tree, part of their ongoing quarterly meeting series.

The meeting is scheduled for December 4, and they are asking attendees to register in advance.

They say that the meeting is strictly informational and will not have a public forum/Q&A portion. They will be discussing preservation efforts, fees related to take permits, and environmental impact reports. DFW is planning additional quarterly meetings in 2026.

The meeting will be held next Thursday, December 4, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. You can register at: https://wildlife-ca-gov.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_QiZF5ypdQRmP1TyG2KkHLQ
