We have limited information about a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle Tuesday in Yucca Valley. About 3:50 Tuesday morning, the male pedestrian was walking southbound in the 5300 block of Yucca Mesa Road, pushing his shopping cart, when he was struck by a white Nissan SUV, also traveling southbound on Yucca Mesa Road. The victim was awake and breathing when responders arrived, and was taken to a local hospital.
