Morongo Valley firefighters kept a car fire from spreading into nearby vegetation Saturday. About 12:30 p.m., firefighters were called to a Ford Bronco that was fully involved with fire on Highway 62 near Desert Willow Trail in Morongo Valley. The fire crew had the fire under control in just a few minutes and kept it from spreading into the thick brush alongside the highway.
