A property in Twentynine Palms was damaged when a vehicle drove through a front yard late Sunday. Reginald Hart, who lives in the 73900 block of Playa Vista Drive, said the car knocked down an aluminum mailbox and fence causing an estimated $385 in damage. A neighbor across the street reported seeing a dark compact car accelerating from the area around 11:45 p.m. No vehicles were found in the area with damage to their front bumpers and there are no suspects, deputies said.
