Sheriff’s Captain Dale Mondary will be the featured speaker at the Morongo Basin Republicans dinner Monday, February 23. Mondary will discuss Proposition 47—which reclassified many felony drug charges to misdemeanors—and A.B.60, which allowed undocumented residents to apply for drivers’ licenses. The dinner meeting starts at 5:30 at Evangelical Free Church, 6804 Mohawk Trail, in Yucca Valley. Dinner will be catered by Bruce’s Coyote Kitchen and costs $12.
