A candle is blamed for a fire that completely destroyed a motorhome and vehicle in Yucca Mesa Thursday afternoon. Firefighters from Yucca Mesa and Joshua Tree were called to the 58000 block of Pimlico Street at 2:52 p.m. County Fire Battalion Chief Scott Tuttle said the vehicles were parked in the home’s driveway when the fire started from a candle inside the motorhome. The fire spread from the motorhome to a car parked nearby and both vehicles were destroyed. There were no injuries.
