CAMPSITE DOMESTIC FIGHT RESULTS IN ARREST

An argument over finances led to a fight between a transient couple, resulting in the arrest of one man. According to a Sheriff’s report, the couple were camping near the Sunfair Dry Lake Bed when they began arguing about 8:30 Wednesday morning. When the man, identified as Clifford Price, 44, advanced toward the woman inside their RV, the report states she threw hot sauce at him. The couple began throwing tools at each other; after Price was hit in the head by a tool, he threw a rock at the woman, which bounced off their truck and hit her in the head. After an investigation, Clifford Price was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
