CALL FOR ART “HUNKER DOWN FOR WINTER” AT THE 29 PALMS VISITOR CENTER GALLERY

Desert artists are invited to submit an original piece of art for the “Hunker Down for Winter!” theme in the next Art in Public Places exhibition. Here’s reporter Tanisha Cureton for your invitation…

“Hunker Down for Winter!” is the theme for the next Art in Public Places exhibition from January 5 through March 30, at Twentynine Palms Visitor Center Art Gallery. This theme can be expressed in painting, drawing, photography, fabric art, or other three-dimensional work.

Artwork will be received at the visitor center gallery on In/Out day, Friday, January 5, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. An opening reception is planned for artists and the public on Friday, January 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
