The Twentynine Palms Art in Public Places commission is issuing a call for art for its new exhibition “Birds, Buds, and Bees.” Artists are invited to bring their paintings, photographs, mosaics, ceramics, sculpture, and other artworks to the Twentynine Palms Visitor’s Center on March 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. An opening reception is set for Saturday, April 6, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Light refreshments and live music will be provided. The exhibition will be on display at the Twentynine Palms Visitor’s Center in downtown Twentynine Palms through June 28. The visitor center’s hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
