California Highway Patrol conducting a sobriety checkpoint tonight, Apr. 7

The California Highway Patrol of the Morongo Basin Station will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint tonight (April 7) somewhere in the unincorporated area of San Bernardino County.

All vehicles at the undisclosed checkpoint location will checked by CHP Drug Recognition Experts with breath testing devices. Any drivers who are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs can expect to be arrested.

The Sheriff’s department states “Our objective is to send a clear message to those mixing alcohol and/or drugs while driving.”
