The California Democratic Party endorsed several candidates running for election in the primary this June. Candidates endorsed who are running for
office in our region include Marge Doyle, who received the endorsement over three other Democrats: Yolanda Brown, Ronald O’Donnell, and Rita
Ramirez. Doyle is running against Republican Congressman Paul Cook.
Third District County Supervisor James Ramos got the party’s endorsement in the 40th Assembly District against Republican incumbent Marc Steinorth. And Democrats endorsed Deni Antionette Mazingo for the 42nd Assembly District, who is running against Republican Chad Mayes of Yucca Valley. Candidates need to earn 60 percent of the votes cast by delegates at the convention in order to receive an endorsement.
