CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY COLLEGES CHANCELLOR’S OFFICE VISITED CMC

Representatives from the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office visited Copper Mountain College recently. The Chancellor’s Office is the largest organization of higher education in the nation, with 2.1 million students attending 114 community colleges in California. Vice Chancellor Pam Walker and Sally Lenz, the dean of curriculum and instruction met with CMC president/superintendent Jeff Cummings and Vice President David Norton. They discussed Copper Mountain College’s efforts to prioritize student success and CMC’s new Guided Pathway Project. The Guided Pathway Project will try to help students graduate from community college in two years. Reporting for Z107.7, this is managing editor Tami Roleff.

Mr. Jeff Cummings, Superintendent/President and Dr. David Norton, Vice President of Academic and Student Success, met with Pam Walker, Vice Chancellor, Educational Services, and Sally Lenz, Dean, Curriculum and Instruction, to share with them CMC’s efforts to prioritize student success. All four are standing in front of resolutions crafted by CMC’s Classified Senate and Faculty Senate with the goal of 100% Student Success.
