Cactus Sewables Quilt Guild will celebrate their 30th birthday with a catered lunch and gifts for all members at their general meeting on September 12, in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center, 57098 29 Palms Highway. Doors open at 12:30 and the meeting begins promptly at 1:00 p.m. A very special surprise is planned as part of the birthday celebration program. Featured will be the three local quilt shops displaying and selling their latest fabrics and quilting items. Guests are welcome. They will be required to pay for their lunch.
