The general meeting of the Cactus Sewables Quilt Guild will take place Monday, November 2, in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center, 57098 29 Palms Hwy. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the meeting begins promptly at 1:00 pm. Guest speaker will be Lyn Brown from Anaheim, a well-known quilt designer and teacher. Guests are welcome. A $3 donation is requested.
