The general meeting of the Cactus Sewables Quilt Guild will take place on June 1, in the Yucca Room of the Yucca Valley Community Center, 57098 29 Palms Hwy. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the meeting begins promptly at 1:00 p.m. Program for the afternoon will be a fun lecture on quilting by Susie Contratto of Palm Desert. Guests are welcome. A $3 donation is requested.
