The Morongo Basin Humane Society is sponsoring a Fur-Ever Home for the Holidays party to benefit the Joshua Tree no-kill animal shelter. The party will include wine and appetizers, along with a live auction on Sunday, December 6, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Sacred Sands, 63155 Quail Springs Road in Joshua Tree. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, and are available at the animal shelter, 4646 Sun View Road, or at Mimi’s Quilt Shop, 55922 29 Palms Highway in Yucca Valley (note the new location).
