The 17th Annual Dessert Soiree starts with a delicious selection of appetizers, desserts, and champagne. There will be a silent and live auction, and the extremely popular Deal or No Deal game. Also part of the event is a wine and orchid auction, gift card mania, and a contest to determine the best baker in the Morongo Basin. This year, the primary beneficiary of the event is the Morongo Basin Humane Society. The Dessert Soiree will be held Saturday, April 6, at the Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-Desert, 56525 Little League Drive in Yucca Valley, starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 per person, or $200 for a table of eight.
